MEET FOUNDING PARTNER, LINDSAY BURTON

Lindsay Burton is the Founding Partner of BAM LEGAL GROUP, where she is dedicated to fighting for California tenants' rights and advocating for plaintiffs in injury, employment, and habitability litigation. With a career built on trial advocacy and access to justice, Ms. Burton and Montse Plancarte Murillo founded BAM LEGAL GROUP in 2025 to specifically champion the rights of California tenants, and injury and employment discrimination victims.

Ms. Burton enjoys creating personal relationships with her clients to better understand the effects their injuries and damages are having on their lives. She has obtained countless successful verdicts and settlements on her clients’ behalf – including multiple settlements over $10 Million and many singular verdicts and settlements in the millions for her deserving clients. Ms. Burton's exceptional legal work has earned her numerous awards, including Super Lawyers Rising Star (2019-2024); Daily Journal Top Verdicts (February 2020); Top 10 Under 40 Personal Injury Attorneys (2023); and Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Attorneys (2019 & 2023). Ms. Burton is also a DRPA Certified Mediator.

Ms. Burton is licensed to practice in the State of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

In her free time, Ms. Burton enjoys scuba diving, traveling with family & friends, and rescuing dogs.

MEET FOUNDING PARTNER, MONTSE PLANCARTE MURILLO

Montse Plancarte Murillo is a Founding Partner of BAM LEGAL GROUP. Ms. Murillo is a dedicated advocate for tenant rights. She specializes in representing tenants in lawsuits against negligent landlords and holding them accountable for uninhabitable living conditions, including mold infestations, water damage, vermin, bugs, and landlord harassment. She also fights against unlawful evictions, retaliation, and illegal rent increases, ensuring California tenants are protected from abusive and exploitative landlord's practices.

Ms. Murillo is relentless in her pursuit of justice for tenants and victims, using her legal expertise to challenge slumlords and secure fair outcomes for her clients. Ms. Murillo has always had a passion for aggressively advocating for those that have been wronged. While in law school, Mr. Murillo worked on wrongful conviction cases, immigrant rights, and volunteered her time in mentorship programs for low-income students.

Ms. Murillo is licensed to practice in the State of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

In her free time, Ms. Murillo enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with her family.
